He led the championship still two races to go, but an ankle injury at the Jerez circuit stopped him from continuing in the championship. 2016 was his first season in the Moto3TM World Championship, where he teamed with Jorge Navarro in the team Estrella Galicia 0,0. Despite his youth, Aarón is a very tenacious rider, who faced this season as a great opportunity to learn and continue to grow as a driver in the World Championship. At the Philip Island circuit, he celebrated his first world podium with only 17 years old, and the satisfaction of having fulfilled one of his dreams.  2017 was his consecration season with three victories, and a third position in the championship. During the 2015 season he ran with the Leopard Racing team in the FIM CEV Repsol and at the same time, he replaced Hiroki Ono due to his injury in the Australian GP of the Moto3 World Championship. The 2016 season was his first full season in the lowest of the categories, again in the Leopard Racing team, riding a KTM with which he finished fifth in the general classification and won the best Rookie of the year. His highlight was his victory in the Austrian Grand Prix from pole position.
